Li Ping, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shu Cheng, Anhui province. He was born in 1943, joined the CPC in 1982, and attended Guizhou Technical College. He is a senior engineer. Li served as director of the Guiyang Economic Commission until 1988. Subsequently he held leading government posts in Guiyang city, where he served as vice-mayor until 1996. In 2003, he was appointed vice-president of the CPPCC of Guizhou province.
Li Ping was a deputy to the 9th NPC, and a representative to the 16th National Congress.
